Job Title: Playworker

Contract: every weekday morning from 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. & afternoon 2:30 p.m. - 6.15 p.m. term

time.

Salary: £11.50/hr, plus holiday pay

Location: Various primary schools around Horsham, including but not limited to Kingslea, Heron

Way, Shelley, St. Roberts

Our playworkers are passionate, enthusiastic and see play work as more than just a job. You do not

necessarily need qualifications, we will train you if you can demonstrate the right qualities for this

role! If you love working with children and are eager to learn, you can become part of the

Duties & Responsibilities not restricted to:

• Plan activities with the children

• Organize play areas, materials and equipment

• Give children the freedom to spend their leisure time in their own way

• Encourage fair and caring behaviour among the children

• Encourage independence and self-esteem

• Ensure Safeguarding procedures are adhered to

All employees must undertake a DBS check and have a valid UK drivers’ licence.
